Might as well get the Return to Senders out of the way first. Even the fact that I got 2 of them today cannot bring me down since I'm on cloud nine already! That package at my doorstep holding my first TTM autographed football was all it took to get me singin' in the sunshine :)

At least there was a forwarding address for me to try on Mr. Brummer.

Mr. Tanana is another extremely nice and accomodating signer. He always signs his cards, etc. with his name and either the Bible verse John 14:6 or John 3:16. He also always includes an extra little pre-signed testimony card that tells how he was never really happy in spite of his success in baseball until he turned his life over to the Lord.

I ACTUALLY HAD 2 DIFFERENT ENVELOPES ARRIVE FROM MR. TANANA TODAY. SO COOL!

Now, I'm really confused about this one. Joe Montana has been excellent about autographing at least 1 of every card I have sent him. I sent my first attempt of getting a football autographed to him because he is one of my faves. It comes back marked REFUSED; RETURN TO SENDER! I wonder whassup with this? I would have been glad to make a charity donation if necessary, but the package wasn't even opened to see if there was any money inside. This really hurts my feelings because there was no explanation or anything. If anyone else has had this experience with Mr. Montana, please let me know about it.

I originally started out with 2 separate custom made photos that Mr.
Lilly was nice enough to autograph both of and return to me. Unfortunately, it was raining the day that they arrived and my mailman didn’t do a good job of closing my mail box. The manila envelope with the pics in it was wet on the edges causing the paper edges to stain. I tried using a blow dryer and all but it ended up curling and turning yellow. So, I came up with the idea below and I made a scrapbook page highlighting the 2 autographs.


Mr. Lilly fortunately autographed these for free but he sent the following price list for future attempts.


I think I’m going to have to pay the $35 for a football signed by this legendary greatness. Well worth that price.
